WMA / Advanced Remote Area First Aid
In partnership with Montagne Explore, we are pleased to offer you first aid training accredited by the Wilderness Medical Association.
Wilderness and Remote First Aid - This advanced package is comprehensive medical training designed for remote professionals or wilderness managers venturing into remote and harsh environments. Wilderness Medicine is significantly different from standard first aid courses and other training focused on urban environments. This course explains how to handle medical emergencies when hospitals and emergency services may not be available for an extended period of time. We prepare students for emergency situations involving prolonged patient care, harsh environments, and improvised equipment.
**If you are using this course to recertify a WMA WEMT certification, it is your responsibility to notify the sponsor when you register and to notify the instructor on the first day of class. **
