SLIDE AND CAMPING

We are pleased to offer you in partnership with The North Face the chance to come and experience winter camping with us in the heart of the mountains. Imagine waking up on a stormy morning right in the area and being the first on the slopes. In addition to helping you find the best turns, the accompanying guide will teach you the little tricks that will make your winter camping experience a success. All our guides for these activities have advanced remote first aid training and hold a level 1 professional from the Canadian Avalanche Association.

 

 

What does this outing look like?

One night package

  • Day 1 - Departure in the middle of the day from Murdochville to the identified ski area. Setting up The North Face camp, dinner and campfire.

  • Day 2 - Breakfast, break camp and slide for the rest of the day. Return to Murdochville in the late afternoon.

Package for two nights or more.

  • Day 1 - Departure at the end of the day from Murdochville towards the identified sliding zone. Setting up camp, dinner and campfire in the evening.

  • Day 2 - Breakfast, slide, dinner and sleep.

  • Day 3 - Breakfast, break camp and slide for the rest of the day. Return to Murdochville in the late afternoon.

  • Services of our guides. Ratio of 1 guide for 6 clients.

  • The North Face 4-season tent

  • The North Face winter sleeping bag

  • Floor mattress

  • Camp slipper

  • Breakfast, dinner, hot beverages and treats

  • All the kitchen essentials

With the knowledge of some basic principles and tips acquired with a little experience, winter camping is a pleasant experience that allows you to open your horizons to new possibilities. Come spend a few days with us to learn how to build various shelters, cook on an expedition, manage your layers of clothing, isolate yourself from the environment, camp management and much more.
